Is your child or teen experiencing behavioral or mental health challenges? With or without a diagnosis, we can help. NAMI Basics is a six-week course that provides practical information, support and skill building so families can find solutions that work for them. Participants will be given information on locating appropriate supports and services within the community including an overview of the Individual Education Plan (IEP) process. Workshops on problem solving, communication techniques, and record-keeping will be provided, as well as a comprehensive resource binder that can be used for the years ahead.
