Tibet: Mount Kailas Pilgrimage

In far Western Tibet towers, Mount Kailas, sacred to four religions and a place of pilgrimage for 3000 years.
Hindus believe Kailas to be the navel of the world and the abode of Shiva, the destroyer and transformer.
Buddhists image Samvara, a wrathful manifestation of the Buddha. Jains and followers of Bön also revere the mountain.
Kailash is the watershed of Southern Asia, in myth and reality. Four great rivers issue from this region. A visual
journey completed Oct. 2016 will be presented with Everest North face and night sky observations covered.
